Thank you for the review. Mbps stands for megabit per second by the way, not megabyte per second. I wish you also tested the adapter for distance and obstacles, i.e. how well it connects over 5 meters, 10 meters, when there is a wall in between, etc.

This is very very slow on Windows 10. Stays at 39Mbps and when opening the PC while this is installed. Every other device connected to the same Internet slows down as well. Could you please help me fix this?! 🙁

Run a LAN Speed Test server for testing your throughput. Otherwise you’ll always be bottlenecked by your ISP.

The software is so cheap and so useful. It would add a lot of value to this sort of review.

Why do you need 5ghz adapter on such a low speeds? I mean 2.4 ghz works well with this speed. I buyed 5ghz and now have 400 mbps around 50mb/s, but why gigabit router on 5 mb/s?

could you share the hardware ID please? I want to know which kind of board this use. TP-Link usually uses realtek and I heard this card works perfectly in os x, so I want to buy a generic cheaper one, but I need to know the name of the board.
