hi
Can you please help me.
I have a Netgear USB WiFi adapter AC1200
Model: A6210
Can you please tell me if the WPS can be disabled?
I am using Windows 7
Thank you
must I plus the adapter into that that Powerbrick? or whatever that is or can I plug it directly
people still survive off 15 mbps download holy shit i would go crazy 50 mbps or bust
WiFi adapters can’t magically make your internet speed faster. Your ISP controls that.
the adapter is 3.0 capable. does your laptop support 3.0? if not, you wont notice a difference if your laptop is only capable of 2.0
Just an observation, I noticed your laptops wi fi light was still lit when you tested the netgear, shouldn’t you have disabled the the laptop wi fi before installing the netgear?
It’s obviously not the wireless adapter that is the problem. It’s you router, modem or ISP. to get the fastest speeds you need to have USB 3.0 and a router capable of delivering those speeds. I have this same adapter paired to a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 and I can transfer files at 800Mbps on my LAN, wirelessly and I get 140Mbps download with a 100-150 Mbps connection.
