These Lacie USB Speakers have a really cool design (by Neil Poulton), in my opinion it could even be descriped as Mac-like. If you want to improve the sound of your desktop or laptop, then check out this video review.

@Wolopoy I get asked this a lot. 95% of the items I review are loaned to me and then returned.
man they are ugly and they sound subpar at best I can tell from here. nice review though.
@NewYorkDontLoveMe A fair bit of bass, yes.

@NewYorkDontLoveMe I personally think they sound better than the iMac ones.

@Dieselroad Very doubtful that would work.

@ShemiOfek Cool, thanks for watching.
is this an advertisement for mymem or a legitimate attempt at reviewing
@thomasmovesinc I prefer to say a classic.
LOL its NOT USB speekers. Its just normal speekers with the option to use USB for power.
You do realise that you actually don’t need to plug in the jack cable in order to get sound through the speakers, right? Just plug in the USB cable and choose the Lacie USB Speakers as the output in your sound system preferences panel on the Mac! 🙂
The jack cable is for connecting MP3 players and other external sound sources.
These speakers work on a digital audio signal-straight USB. You do not need to connect the 3.5mm jumper unless your audio source is analogue only.
