How can these be as good at plugging directly into the computer? I mean it has 1 usb wire. How can you get 5gbps from 7 ports all through only 1 usb cord? Can anyone explain this to me. I’m looking for something like this but I want a hub that functions no different than directly plugging in to the computer which I have mounted on the wall.

I want to get this, But the usb cable that connects the hub to desktop looks like its kind of short , cause the position where I want to put the usb hub is under my L shaped desk and my tower is to the left of it and its about 5ft from where I want to put the hub to my tower , do I need a usb extension?

How i want to set it up as is like this:
USB Extension cable from Case to say this Hub.
Into the Hub i want a keyboard, Mouse, Two Joysticks and a Hotas.

Would they all work ok, would there be a delay in the joysticks etc?
I am unsure what to do.

The usb hub facilitates Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Z-Wave, Kidde and Lutron ClearConnect devices. Wink itself sells a diverse selection of smart devices, such as smart locks, alarms, thermostats, and many other full-fledged appliances. Moreover, other devices that retain the connectivity protocols already stated can even be attached to the hub for controlling their basic functionality.

Richy says:

so the hub in total is max 5gbps

Ramon G says:

Would you recommend to connect the a/c cable and usb cable when using all ports?
