I upload my video and I search it in the search list to with another mobile but it is in the bottom of the search list I can’t find it on the search list so tell me how to keep my video at the first in the search list

Builder Brothers says:

I recently switched to a Qnap NAS. Great product. They have regular updates.

Entrepreneur Box says:

With the new routers, you can use ext drives to make a NAS so it is just as safe as buying a NAS setup. I have always gone by the 3-2-1 backup. 3 copies of all data 2 copies locally and 1 copy off-site. It has saved me at times.

Ravi Sharma says:

I love your voice ❤️

International Worshiper says:

In order to keep the costs low I normally backup my files in LaCies Hard-drives of 4TB and purchase more as they get full. I use two hard-drives one for Daily basises storage and one for redundancy, I consider the quality of LaCies hard-drive good and reliable at least I never had a problem before. The cost of each hard-drive here in UK is approximately £100. I am happy with the current solution although I consider purchasing one of the Synology NAS solution in the near future.

check out gamer’s nexus’ videos on synology nas hardware. they fail not even in a half a year

What’s the name of the intro song? Thanks

Mimi Kutu says:

So helpful . Thinkmedia saves us once again ❤

GoHomeRog says:

this would be nice to have for a large personal business.

Grid21 says:

Why not just have a whole file server with window server on it so you can not only have permission sets, but also a remote desktop and the ability to even turn it into a rendering server too. NAS’ are cool and all, but not as useful as a full-on file server.

Graham Wideman says:

4:08 You would not plug your NAS into the WAN side of your router.

8 Bit Goan says:

Yayy!! Your channel is growing drastically now. Waiting for the 1m!!

South Carolina Farm Life says:

Just starting on youtube South Carolina Farm Life “SCFL”. Teaching and showing how things are done around the farm. Thanks for all your advice

techron mattic says:

There’s nothing worse than having your production put on hold while your trying to delete files that you would rather keep to make room on your phone memory, I have a file on my desktop simply titled temporary files, before starting a new project or group of projects I copy the contents of my sd card into the temp file then format my sd card and I’m good to go

Dad and the Jiujitsu Kid says:

This has been so helpful! I only store small projects for our IG accounts and starting to increase more content so I use relatively inexpensive external hard drives. Can you make a video on NAS systems but with less bays or less expensive for the prosumer and hobbyist? Thank you!

Cheesehead Vaping says:

Really appreciate you showing this. I think this would be perfect for transferring all of my audio files from my laptop that I use strictly for recording. Also, I typically work out of 2 separate offices so remote access is a huge bonus on this. Thanks man

House of Essence says:

Great videos

Hey Sean! I found your channel about 2 months ago; about the time I took the plunge and started my YT channel not knowing how to do any thing relating to video, editing, social media, etc. You and Video Influencers have become my go to source for advice! Thank you so very much, I really appreciate you, and the advice you share, as well as the inspiration!!!! Thanks a lot!!-Jason

Saving up for Nas.

landrover1956 says:

Thanks for vid. Do all the drives need to be the same size? And what do you recommend for backing up the NAS for offsite storage? This all still seem very complicated. I read so many people who complain how poor the manuals are that come with Sinology products.

Ben Show says:

I have been looking at systems like this. I heard the Western Digital brand requires internet hook-up for it to function, does this perform the same way is an internet connection required for it to work?

Rusty Brown Photography says:

As a small YouTuber and Hobbyist, I’m still using external hard drives for back up and redundancy. USB powered 4TB at ~$100 makes it super easy. I have one external I travel with and 2 I use for back up and redundancy. I fully get the benefits of NAS, but it’s still too pricey for me – and a 6 bay unit is only using 3 drives (truly) because of the one for one backup. Great video. I may get there (NAS) one day. Cheers.

QueAquatics says:

Thanks for the information!! I have been struggling with this issue for months and it is getting paralyzing. Guess what? I am getting an NAS in 2 days and I chose Synology!!! Thank you again!!

anitha shanthivan says:

Thank you so much you are very helpful to have to keep our channel at the top and bring more views thank you

carl crighton says:

Love the NAS, love the USB drives, my solution was something else, I used a torrent based system on three locations, works very well for shared files.

First started with BitSync (2013), and then moved forward.. Blows away this solution.

MusafiR Yaadein says:

Nice information

anitha shanthivan says:

Hey can you tell me how to keep our videos at the first in the search list

tubetop123 says:

I think the main reason why we want to use NAS or any external drive is, we do NOT and should NOT store things on the cloud where its owned by other corporations. No one reads their fine print, I bet Google owns all our Gmail and content and can view them without out consent, or someday, they will be hacked (many already have) and then hackers have all our files. Probability of hacking our own network in our house is much lower.

ChristianSoend says:

Though, if you invest in a NAS, it is easier to hack than an external harddrive

Alonso Martii says:

I got a external HD mycloud 6gb(3gb) raid1. And i backup everything from anywhere. And paid less than one 12tb woldDrive.

Chill Life says:

HI Bro, question plz Can i use white board animation videos in my chanel ? secondly I want to change the name and category/Niche of my 110k verified chanel is it ok will it create any problem ?

Great video.
Can the NAS use SSD or solid state drives too?
Much faster and far more reliable than hard drives.
They’re flash memory, as I’m sure you’re already aware.☺
I used to have a 4TB external hard drive but I lost it in a storage unit auction before I ever got the chance to use it.
It was a nice Western Digital but I remember I would have needed to totally reformat the drive as it was configured for Macs and I have a PC.
Anyway.
I know that SSD’s have been increasing their storage capacities.
I noticed you do have to use NAS specific hard drives in the NAS device.
I wonder if anyone even makes a NAS SSD?
What, if anything, have you heard about that technology?
Other than 2TB flash drives, I don’t know if anyone makes external SSDs in the first place.
Although I do understand you use internal hard drives with the NAS device, albeit just ones configured for use with a NAS.

GetMorrOutdoors says:

Hey Sean, hope you and yours are well! I’ve been going through the videos you did on affiliate marketing and I’m wondering if I should wait until I hit a certain level of subs to start this[I’m kinda struggling with 14 subs, but I’m gonna keep plugging away at it! 🙂 ]. And what about merch? your thoughts; is it worth it? certain level of subs to start? best merch companies to get with? I’m really getting a lot from your vids…keep crushing it!! ;)-Jason

On Hawaii Time says:

I’ve needed this video for a long time! Storage and backing up has been one of my challenges. Thanks for the tips Sean! As always, much appreciated!! Aloha~

Small World Outdoors says:

Excellent information on the NAS system. Since I am new to content creating I use smaller portable external hard drives to store my data that I carry around, and a larger hard drive that I back that data up on. I have considered a NAS, but don’t really have a need for it now. I will be upgrading to one in the future though!

RacerRed says:

why is it that we have mini sd cards that can hold 256gb of data and are nearly indestructible. Get an external hard drive, sneeze on it wrong, it explodes and your data is lost.

fihmy jabareen says:

great video , is the nas noisy ?

tug lib says:

Super handsome. Damn

Samal Nauhria says:

Hello I need your help. I use imovie for editing my youtube videos which i shoot on my iphone and dji osmo gimbal. Just after 3 video projects, my phone and laptop storage are full. i also need to save my imovie projects to an external storage if possible and don’t know how to do it. kindly suggest. what is the best solution. Hard drive or nas or cloud??? Confused

Evatronic says:

Great video on one of the many ways of backing up. I think as a content creator storage space is constantly running out and especially thinking about backing up with some sort of redundancy. I currently have a Drobo as my main back up hub with 2 other external portable hard drives as backups too.

DJ Allex says:

Great vid
