You’re intended to leave the little magnetic plugs in your different devices so you can just pop them onto the magnet. It’s nice if you have apple and Android devices that you need to charge at different times.

for me personally, I find the connotations for USB 3.1 v1 and v2 VERY confusing. if its called USB 3.1 Gen 1, then I’m calling it USB 3. if its Gen 2, then I’ll call it 3.1
