Wal-Mart is having a crazy sale with their flag-ship white label tech brand Blackweb.

You get what you pay for with these Blackweb drives. I couldn`t believe the price $4.88 for a 16gb flash drive, until I got them home and tested them.I had problems with 1 drive, so I tested all 3 that I purchased.I made sure they were properly formatted.I tried all formats fat32, exfat, and NTFS on different drives, but got the same results on each, error/corrupted data when transfered back, and checked.Coupled with a cheap enclosure, these are garbage. In addition, they don`t live up to the speeds boasted for a USB 3.0 If you value your data, stick to a good established brand. Check Flash is a good testing program for flash drives. You can be sure I won`t buy any Walmart in house brand again.
I tested the drive, it is not even close to USB 2. Read for 13 Kb/s and write for 27 Kb/s. piece of garbage.
That is why they are 5 bux..lol thanks for the video
fk man saved me big. thanks man! some guy is trying to sell these on kajiji for 10$ each in Toronto area
These are complete trash… I was able to get USB 3.0 speeds… but when i write ubuntu on it with etcher… it will come back as corrupted.
i poped one open and i see a Sandisk memory chip with RMRMRMRM over it which i think means it’s a bad chip im thinking?
why would walmart even allow this to happen
hey nev, i was thinking to get a couple of drives myself but to have them as boot-able drives. Can you please update if you were able to get them to install windows?
