Thank you for this. I recently bought my Pixel 2 XL and I was having problems finding headphones that work with it. The Bluetooth on my Beats don’t work so I had to use a wired connection with the USB-C dongle and it only worked for a short time and then wouldn’t work anymore. I used cheap Skull Candy earbuds and they wouldn’t work at all. I bought the Pixel Buds and they work great of course but I only use them at work since earbuds are easier to hide. For traveling I prefer to use over the ear noise cancelling headphones and I wanted to buy the Bose QC35 II headphones since I heard they were the best but I was concerned whether they would work or not with the Pixel 2 XL or not given the problems I’ve had with last headphones. I asked Google and of course they wouldn’t give me a straight answer and just kept directing me to their forums. If your QC35s worked with no problem via Bluetooth then I’m confident the QC35 IIs will work with it. Especially since the only thing Google would confirm to me is that any Bluetooth headset should work and any wired headset that supports digital audio should work. Let’s see.

Pete Smyth says:

If the adaptor was one piece, it would be really long rigidly protruding from the phone, and a nuisance.
